Lead Dispatcher Melissa VanRomondt
Communications Officer Melissa VanRomondt has been with the Longwood University Police Department Communications Center for 8 years. Currently she is serving as the lead dispatcher overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch office.
Melissa is a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) instructor for the department. She also serves as a Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) instructor.
Melissa has been a member of Peaks Baptist Church for over 30 years. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Melissa and her husband Melvin reside in Darlington Heights, VA with their two daughters, Shakyla and Tasya.
