AGB Search has been selected to assist the Presidential Search Advisory Committee with the search for Longwood University's next president.

AGB Search is an affiliate of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB) and draws on over 90 years of service to public higher education.  AGB Search is committed to listening to boards and campus community members in identifying leadership attributes and applying those attributes in the candidate recruitment process.

Leading the initiative for AGB Search for the President of Longwood University is Dr. Constantine (Deno) Curris.  Dr. Curris brings over four decades of outstanding higher education leadership to the search process, with over twenty-six of those years in the role of a university president at three institutions - ten years at Murray State University, twelve years at the University of Northern Iowa, and nearly five years at Clemson University.  Also, Dr. Curris served as President of AASCU, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and led that association of over 400 public colleges and universities for a decade.
