What are suggested ways that a student can "get involved?"
- Attend the "New Lancer Days" activities.
- Attend the first hall meeting.
- Get involved with Hall Council.
- Help the RA plan and facilitate a floor social, a community service project or other program.
- Become active in a wide variety of Student Organizations. Longwood has approximately 125 clubs and organizations. For more information, visit the Student Union website.
- Get involved with Intramurals and Campus Recreation.
- Read table tents in the dining hall, posters in the residence hall lobby & student union, the Rotunda (campus newspaper), tune in to WMLU 93.1 (campus radio station) and turn to the Longwood Information TV Channels to find out about campus events.
A lot of campus activities are FREE when presenting the student ID!
Not coming back?
If you will not be returning to the university and will not be attending/registering for any Longwood courses, you must complete the withdrawal process. To withdraw from the university, you must visit the Dean's office specific to your major and complete a withdrawal form. Completion of the withdrawal process is required.
