Instructions

All students participating in the self-assignment process will need the following information: Your Lancer Net ID and RMS ID and the Lancer Net ID and RMS ID of your roommate. Students can find their RMS ID by logging into the student housing gateway. The RMS ID is found on the Welcome Page at the top of the screen.

Squat

Return to the SAME Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents can sign up to return to the SAME main campus room for the 2010-2011 academic year (August - May).

• Designated Roommate: Must be the current resident of the room.
• Note: Eligible residents, that fail to SQUAT his/her current room assignment, forfeit any priority to return to their same room location.

 

89 +

Select ANY Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents with 89+ credits, earned by the end of Spring 2010, can sign up to live in any available room on this day.

• Designated Roommate: Must have 89+ earned credits.
• Note: Residents that miss his/her credit-specific day must wait until the next available self-assignment day to select a room assignment. 

 

56-88

Select ANY Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents with 56-88 credits, earned by the end of Spring 2010, can sign up to live in any available room on this day.

• Designated Roommate: Must have 56+ earned credits.
• Note: Residents that miss his/her credit-specific day must wait until the next available self-assignment day to select a room assignment.

 

40-55

Select ANY Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents with 40-55 credits, earned by the end of Spring 2010, can sign up to live in any available room on this day.

• Designated Roommate: Must have 40+ earned credits.
• Note: Residents that miss his/her credit-specific day must wait until the next available self-assignment day to select a room assignment.

 

25-39

Select ANY Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents with 25-39 credits, earned by the end of Spring 2010, can sign up to live in any available room on this day.

• Designated Roommate: Must have 25+ earned credits.
• Note: Residents that miss his/her credit-specific day must wait until the next available self-assignment day to select a room assignment.

 

24 and below

Select ANY Main Campus Room: Where possible, current Main Campus residents with 24 and below credits, earned by the end of Spring 2009, can sign up to live in any available room on this day.

Missed Application

Select from the Remaining Main Campus Rooms: If you missed your designated room selection day, you will be permitted to enter the Self Assignment System and choose from the remaining assignments locations.

 

Solo Residents

Please know we do have a space for you!: Continuing residents, WITHOUT a mutual roommate(s), may submit building and meal plan preferences for Fall 2010 - Spring 2011 assignment on this day.

 

Waitlist

Please know we do have a space for you!: In the event that the supply of Main Campus Beds (available for Self Assignment) is exhausted, continuing residents may submit building and meal plan preferences for Fall 2010 - Spring 2011 assignment on this day.
