I received my BA degree in Psychology from UNC-Charlotte
in 2007. I then attended Appalachian State University (ASU)(Proud to BE A
MOUNTAINEER!!) where I received my Masters of Arts in Higher Education-
Administration in 2009.
While I was at UNC-Charlotte,
I became very involved with many student organizations and leadership
positions. I was a RA for 3 of my four years there. I also was a member of
the Black Student Union, Student Alumni Ambassador, Campus Activities Board,
Orientation Counselor, NPHC, ACES dance troop. I am currently and always
will be a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc and I am the President of
a Graduate Chapter in North Carolina. While at ASU I was an Residence
Director and a Co-advisor of many groups on campus. I truly enjoyed working
with the students and assisting them in their programming and growth as
young adults.
In my spare time I like to
spend time with my wife, family and friends. I like to read, watch TV., play
video games (PS3), write poetry and just all round HAVE FUN! I am currently
a member of these professional organizations American College
Personnel Association (ACPA),
Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA), & Southeastern
Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO)!
I truly enjoy getting to
know people and building meaningful relationships, so please do not hesitate
to stop by and speak to me. My office is at Lancer Park in the Clubhouse. My
door is OPEN! |
