STUDENT REGISTRATION BETWEEN LONGWOOD UNIVERSITY AND HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, ST. PAUL'S AND SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA COMMUNITY COLLEGES

Under a cooperative arrangement through the Southside Higher Education Consortium, you may enroll in a course at Hampden-Sydney, St. Paul's or Southside Virginia Community Colleges without added expense, unless credits require overload fee (same overload fee required if these credits were for a Longwood University class). You should access the website for these colleges to view their courses being offered.  To obtain a Consortium Registration Form, you should contact the Longwood University Office of Registration.   Your advisor's approval is required for any courses you wish to take.

You should then sign up for the courses through the Longwood Office of Registration and you will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Your grade will be figured into your grade point average and recorded on your transcript in the same way as any course taken at Longwood University and will not be counted as a transfer credit.

Students interested in taking courses through the Consortium should check the beginning and ending dates of the registered course. The academic calendars of the four institutions may differ.
