| UNDERGRADUATE OFF-CAMPUS COURSE REGISTRATION
For information or to register for off-campus undergraduate
courses, contact your advisor. If you don't have an advisor
contact the
Registration Office.
For non-degree seeking students, the University must have a
registration form with a signature in order to register a student
for any off-campus undergraduate class. Faxed copies are accepted.
The fax number for the Registration Office is (434) 395-2252. Signatures are required. Payment for classes must be made
directly to the Office of Cashiering. See

If the student has never attended Longwood University or has not
attended within the past twelve months, the
Application for In-State
Tuition Rates is required.
Requests for withdrawals from off-campus undergraduate classes
must be approved by the Appropriate Dean and then forwarded for
approval to the Associate Provost.
GRADUATE OFF-CAMPUS COURSE REGISTRATION
Check out Longwood's off-campus offerings. Courses are currently
being taught in South Boston at the Southern Virginia High Education
Center (HEC), in Lynchburg at the Central Virginia Criminal
Justice Academy (CVCJA), at the Longwood Powhatan Center at
Powhatan High School, and at the Longwood Richmond Center in the
Retail Merchants Association building on Monument Avenue. To obtain up-to-date listings of the

Registration and Withdrawal for Graduate Off-Campus Courses:
Admitted Degree & Graduate Licensure Students may register for
off-campus courses via regular mail, via fax, via
myLongwood
or in person in the Registration Office, Barlow Hall.
Non-degree and Special Students may register for off-campus courses
via regular mail, via fax, or in person in the Registration Office,
Barlow Hall.
Registration deadlines are two weeks before the first class
meeting. No registrations will be accepted after one week
before the first class meeting. Classes can be cancelled for
insufficient enrollment. Payment is expected at the time of
enrollment and can be made by check, tuition
voucher completed & signed, financial aid, VA benefits, or
combination of the above, or credit/debit card online 24 hours after
the registration is processed. See

To drop without financial obligation, students must submit a
written request to the Registration Office via regular mail, via
fax, or in person prior to the start date of the course. To withdraw and receive a grade of W in any off-campus graduate
class (course sections numbered 90 and above), students must submit
a letter of withdrawal to the Dean of Graduate Studies postmarked
before the mid-point of the class. Students may not withdraw during
the second half of the class except for medical or other
non-academic emergencies. |
