Emergency Management

Emergency Management establishes criteria and direction through processes and procedures to ensure that the "all hazards emergency management plan" is developed, trained, implemented, practiced, and reviewed to ensure compliance. The EHS&EM Office shall establish and assist in developing and implementing the emergency management plan for Longwood University. The "all hazards plan" shall include, but not be conclusive of, the following:

  • Campus Shooter
  • Hostage Situation
  • Electrical Failure
  • Tornado
  • Helicopter Crash
  • Bomb Threat
  • Terrorism
  • Natural Gas Leak
  • Severe Weather

  • Major Disturbance

  • Steam Plant Failure
