Directions to The Hardy House
When parking, please make sure to pick up a Visitor Pass from the Crafts House (Admissions Office), located directly beside the parking lot.
| From Northern Virginia, Richmond and Washington D.C. |
| I-95 South
to Powhite Parkway (Exit 79). Take Powhite Parkway to Route
288 (Chesterfield/Amelia), follow Route 288, exit onto U.S. 360
West. Take 360 West approximately 35 miles to State Route 307,
take Route 307 for 9 miles to U.S. 460 West. From 460 W-
take the First Farmville Exit- this will put you onto 3rd Street.
When you reach Downtown- Take a left onto Main Street. At the
next block turn right onto High Street. As you pass the Methodist
Church on your Right, Merge Right onto Buffalo Street.
Immediately on your Right you will see a Visitor Parking Lot.
Feel free to park anywhere in the lot, not marked as reserved.
As you face away from the school, you will see stairs in the back
right corner of the parking lot, and a sign that says, Hardy
House. Go up the stairs and follow the path around to the

| I-64 West to
I-95 South, turn onto the downtown expressway (Route 195); take the
expressway to the Powhite Parkway (Route 76);Take Powhite Parkway to
Route 288 (Chesterfield/Amelia), follow Route 288, exit onto U.S.
360 West. Take 360 West approximately 35 miles to State Route
307, take Route 307 for 9 miles to U.S. 460 West. From

| Route 20 South
to U.S. 15 South; follow U.S. 15 South to Farmville; turn left onto
Business 15/460 at stop light (Executive Inn); proceed several miles
and turn right onto Business 15 (Oak Street) at Southside Community
Hospital. At traffic light, turn left onto High Street.
Proceed 1 long block, turn left onto St. George Street. Take a right
at the first stop sign onto Buffalo Street. Immediately on
your left you will see a Visitor Parking Lot. Feel free to
park anywhere in the lot, not marked as reserved. As you face
away from the school, you will see stairs in the back right corner
of the parking lot, and a sign that says, Hardy House. Go up
the stairs and follow the path around to the front of the

| From Lynchburg and Roanoke |
| U.S. 460 East into
Farmville. Exit 460 at the second Farmville exit (Business
U.S. 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood University, turning
left onto High Street the third traffic light after the
Pepsi/Longwood Message Board. As you pass the Methodist Church on
your Right, Merge Right onto Buffalo Street. Immediately on
