Housing

Welcome home to Longwood!  To keep you comfortable, we offer air conditioned residence halls for our summer guests!

Our summer conference team members live in the Residence Halls and are available during regular desk hours to help with anything your participants need.  Outside of the desk hours, we assign one staff member to "on call" duty throughout the night.

The Residence Halls used for Summer Conferences are found below.  Click on the hall's name to learn more information.

Curry
Curry offers suite living arrangements that are single, double, or triple occupancy in two or three room combinations. All rooms are air-conditioned. Two elevators make move-in a breeze to any of the 10 available floors of housing.

Frazer
Frazer  is connected to Curry by the Commons Room, a large recreation space used for registration over the summer. All rooms are air-conditioned.  Frazer is a mirror image of Curry, and also has two elevators.  Frazer is by far one of the top choices during summer conferences.

Wheeler
Wheeler Hall is located on the northwest corner of campus close to Jarman Auditorium.  Rooms are double occupancy rooms and share a bath with an adjoining room. In front of Wheeler, there is a mall area for picnics, recreation, and sun bathing. Wheeler is freshly renovated and the winner of numerous awards for its accommodations!

ARC
ARC is centrally located near the Dorrill Dining Hall and beside the Greenwood Library.  Known as the Academic Residential Community, ARC Hall is fully air conditioned, featuring the largest residential rooms on campus and spacious lounge areas with comfortable seating.  You'll love ARC!

Cox
Cox is a newly renovated air-conditioned hall located beside Wheeler. Rooms are double occupancy in suite style, sharing a bath with an adjoining room. On the ground floor, a lounge, reception desk and vending machine area is available.  There is a large community grill behind the walkway between Wheeler and Cox available for picnics.

*All Residence Halls listed above may not be available during the summer dependant upon renovations, constructions, and overall availability.
