To the right you will find links to the Academic and Clinical Handbooks and the Thesis Guide. These are intended to provide you with the information you will need to travel the road toward becoming a professional in communication sciences and disorders.
Some of the experiences you will encounter on this journey will take place in Longwood University classrooms or while providing Speech and Language Services at the Longwood University Center for Communication, Literacy, and Learning. Others will occur at off-campus placements.
Wherever this journey toward professionalism takes you, our desire for you is that you will acquire a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, exercise intellectual curiosity, and develop a keen awareness of responsible and ethical professional behavior.
Longwood's participation with DLVE-SLP will end with the cohort admitted the summer of 2011. James Madison University is the only remaining participant.
