On October 30, social work students connected with Prince Edward county high school students as part of their SOWK 430 course, Methods: Practice III Communities and Organizations. Senior social work students contacted Prince Edward high school administrators and teachers to arrange a campus visit for 45 seniors in the College-Bound program. Prior to their visit, the social work team designed a comprehensive program that showcased Longwood University and gave practical information to the high school students. The day was highlighted with a campus tour and lunch in the Dorrill dining hall.
