This page and the links it leads to are designed primarily for use by accounting students at Longwood University although all others are more than welcome to make use of them. For those who don't know me, I am an Associate Professor of Accounting in the College of Business & Economics at Longwood University. My teaching duties include Federal Income Taxation I and II, Accounting Information Systems and Principles of Accounting.

The drop down menu to the left provides access to lists of web sites on several topics that should be of use to business and accounting students as well as faculty.

Fraud on the Internet

There will always be someone out there trying to rip you off or mislead you to gain an advantage or just make trouble for kicks. I've created a page that provides links to sites with information that will help you protect yourself from those liars and thieves.

Tax Protesters & Scam Artists

One of my specific concerns are people who want so desperately to avoid income taxes that they succumb to the illogical arguments and theories of so called tax protesters or of scam artists. I've compiled a list of sites that debunk the strategies these groups claim will allow one to legally avoid most, if not all, federal income taxes.

For more information about me, check my resumé. For links that might be useful to accounting or business students, pick a topic from the drop-down menu to the above left.

These pages also include a U.S. Tax FAQ, frequently asked questions on U.S. taxes (with answers), and Employment Information, a collection of general and specific sites that should help in job searching.

The miscellaneous stuff is a list of sites that don't fit any of the available categories. Take a look if you're interested in website development (including HTML coding), enhancing your browser with plugins and helpers, entertainment sites, or just miscellaneous stuff.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for the content at any of the sites that might be accessed by links on pages created by me. If you're offended, misled, taken advantage of or otherwise mistreated by someone else or the content of someone else's files, then I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do.
Let the browser beware.
Note also that the inclusion of a link on these pages does not represent an endorsement by me, nor by Longwood University, nor by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Finally, any well-reasoned opinions expressed on pages created by me are mine, not my employer's. That's true of the other opinions, too.
