EASC 101 Web Assign Instructions
WebAssign in an online homework-delivery system hosted by North Carolina State University. It is used by physics and chemistry departments across the world. Most of the homework assignments in this course will be handled by WebAssign.
Your account has already been created in WebAssign (by me). You will have a 14-day grace period to pay for it. The cost is $11.95, and the clock starts ticking at 12:00 PM Monday 28 August 2006.
To access your account, follow these instuctions:
- Go to http://www.webassign.net (the link opens a new browser window).
- Log in using the red button on left side of the page.
- Your username is your Longwood email username. Your institution is "longwood", all lower case. Your password was explained at the first class meeting. Email me if you don't know your password.
- The next screen should inform you of the 14-day grace period. The first thing you should is change your password. I will not have access to your new password.
If you cannot log in, it's possible your account has not been created. Send me an email message describing the error message from the website.
