The Python programming language normally does not yield very fast programs. So VPNBody is not well-suited for extremely-long term integrations. However, there are several excellent programs available on the Internet that can be used to integrate self-gravitating systems over millions or billions of years:

Most of these are available for MS-Windows, but to get maximum performance you will want to compile and run the program you chose on a Unix system.
