 Beautiful coastline from Accra, Ghana - The capital of Ghana

                      
 Fishing boats off the shore in Accra.  Many people make their livelihood by fishing.
                   
The Suspension bridge located in Kanu National Park north of Cape Coast.  The photo to the right is the market place in Kumasi - said to be one of the largest markets in West Africa.

                       
Elmina Slave Castle in Ghana.  The middle photo gives one an idea of how the ships/boats would come to shore and the slaves would walk down the long rocky corridors from their perspective male and female dungeons to board the ships.  The photo to the right is called Santiago Fort, first built and owned by the Portuguese in 1482, then won over by the Dutch in the 16th century and then the British in the 17th century.
