Bio:

My wife Jenn and I moved to Farmville in July of 2006.  Prior to that we lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where we met when we were both students at Marquette University.  We like Farmville's unhurried pace, but we miss the variety of restaurants that we enjoyed in Milwaukee.  If you know of a good place to find interesting food close by, please drop me a line!

Here at Longwood, I work as an Assistant Librarian for Reference and Instruction.  That means I'm a good person to talk to if you need help with your research or if you're a teacher who would like someone to introduce your students to library resources in your discipline.  If your question falls outside these areas, let me know anyway.  If I don't know the answer to your question, I'll put you in touch with someone who does.

When I'm not at work, I try to get outside as much as possible.  We recently discovered the hiking trails at nearby Peaks of Otter, and we have plans to do some more exploring in the future.  I also enjoy biking, lifting weights, and reading kooky stuff of every variety, especially young adult literature, philosophy, and poetry.
