Bio:
My wife Jenn and
I moved to Farmville in July of 2006. Prior to that we lived in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where we met when we were both students at
Marquette University. We like Farmville's unhurried pace, but we
miss the variety of restaurants that we enjoyed in Milwaukee. If
you know of a good place to find interesting food close by, please drop
me a line! Here
at Longwood, I work as an Assistant Librarian for Reference and
Instruction. That means I'm a good person to talk to if you need
help with your research or if you're a teacher who would like someone to
introduce your students to library resources in your discipline.
Although I provide research support for all disciplines, I work most
closely with the following departments:
Feel free to contact
me even if your question lies outside these areas. If
I don't know the answer to your question, I'll put you in touch with
someone who does.
When I'm not at work, I like to be active physically. For many
years, this has meant running, lifting weights, cycling, and hiking,
though I've recently developed an enthusiasm for Ashtanga Yoga under the
direction of
Ed Devlin. Lately, I've been
reading a lot of philosophy, mythology, science fiction, and young adult
lit. Jenn and I are currently working our way through the
"X-Files" TV series.
