Qualification for Licensure - Praxis II in Music
All prospective teachers at Longwood must pass the Appropriate Praxis II exam before graduation. Since Longwood is an approved licensure program, Praxis II is part of the graduation requirement. We recommend that you take Praxis II as you are finishing your music classes. Probably the ideal time would be during the first few weeks of student teaching.
