About the Conductor
Dr. Gordon Ring
has been the conductor of the Longwood University Wind Symphony since 1989.
Under his leadership the group has gone from a college/community ensemble
rehearsing one night a week to an established university ensemble of 55-65
members. He is active as a composer, conductor, and adjudicator across the
United States and Canada.
