There is no nice way to put it: I am obsessed with film. I'm currently working my way through both the New York Times Best 1000 Movies List and the titles in the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. It's slow going. I also discovered a list of interesting movies on Slant, and an alternative doubled canon. I hope to be mostly finished before I'm 45, but that may be an optimistic assessment.
