For some odd reason, I own a full size Hokie Bird costume.  I actually made it to compete in a costume competition to get a trip to the Sugar Bowl when Virginia Tech went for the national championship, but lost to a girl in a glittery prom outfit with a bird head, a guy dressed as a sugar bowl, and eventually to two guys in an egg crate mattress cut out in the shape of a VT.  I was disappointed, but I still manage to drag the 'ol outfit out now and again.

I actually receive many inquiries about my costume through this website.  FYI, I don't rent it out and the boss says I can't go play dress up for you :(.  I'll also try to post some information one day in case you would like to make a Hokie Bird costume of your own.

Microsoft Photo Tourism - WOW, this is neat!  Let's say you have a landmark that lots of people take pictures of.  This software then finds the common points of this landmark and allows you to view that landmark from those different views.  A MUST check out!  The image below is of the Trevi Fountain.  The little boxes at the bottom of the screen are photos that you can "look through".  http://phototour.cs.washington.edu/ This technology has now been integrated into Bing Maps.

Watch this video for a "tour" of the product

They've updated the Photo Tourism into PhotoSynth and now you can create this kind of stuff yourself!  http://photosynth.net

I wrote an Ontime converter for Outlook  Ontime is an older calendar program.  This is an Excel sheet that does a conversion into a format Outlook can use.
