Copy and paste the text below into FrontPage's (or your web page editing program's) Code or HTML view. In FrontPage it is a tab at the bottom left side of your work area and looks like this:
Highlight all of the text in a blank page and replace with the text below. If that does not work or if you see odd characters, use a text editor like windows Notepad. Change all instances of index.htm to the desired new location and rename this redirect file to the name of the old page or the page that folks will be hitting that you want them sent elsewhere from. redirects. You will need to edit it to point to the
new location and rename the file to what the current file is
named. You may need to Right Click (option click for Mac
folks) and save the file to your computer. You may need to change the
extension on the file from .htm to .txt to edit the file. |
