VIRGINIA COLLABORATIVE FOR EXCELLENCE IN THE PREPARTION OF TEACHERS

TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE ANNUAL REPORT 1997-98

The Technology Committee met three times during the year, once each at Longwood College, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Mary Washington College.

A major portion of the Committee's work has been concerned with the Collaborative's home page on the Web. It is up and functioning; point your browser to

This page now contains links to other National Science Foundation collaboratives.

We established the basic architecture and templates to be followed by Collaborative committees for their individual Web pages.

A listserv to facilitate communication within the Collaborative has been established. It is housed at Mary Washington College. A second listserv for the Steering Committee has been implemented.

In the coming year we anticipate working more closely with the other Collaborative committees. Each member of the Technology Committee has been assigned one Collaborative committee to which he or she will be a liaison, helping to solve technology-related problems and bringing technology issues to the attention of the Technology Committee.
