Grant Avent has been the Director of Longwood Dining Service since August 2005. Grant began his ARAMARK career 20 years ago as a Location Manager at University of North Carolina in Greensboro. He then took his expertise to Charleston Southern University. Grant spent eight years serving Winthrop University as Director of Dining Services. A native to Roanoke, Virginia, Grant is excited to be closer to his roots and being a part of the Longwood family. He and his wife reside in Farmville.
