Jen Rentschler
rentschlerjc@longwood.edu
Assistant Director for
Volunteer and Service Learning
I came to Longwood University
after finishing my masters degree in College Student Personnel at Miami
University in Oxford, Ohio. Before that, I studied at beautiful
Appalachian State University and received my BS in Psychology, where I
also worked for several years as a student assistant in a community
service office. I always found it
extremely rewarding to be able to encourage others to give of their time
and talents to help the surrounding Appalachian community. It's
exciting to continue this sort of work here at Longwood
University, where I
do my best to ensure that LU
students have a variety of volunteer opportunities available to
them. I’m more than happy to
meet with individuals or student groups to set up a fun and exciting
service project with one of our many friendly community partners. Stop
by 218 Lankford Student Union anytime and say hello!
