Rock the Block is an annual event that takes place over at the Longwood Landings. It features many local establishments in the town of Farmville, music throughout the evening, interactive novelties, great free giveaways, food and the evening is capped off with Fireworks.

Paint Party, Lankford Ballroom, Limited to 50 People
Join us at the Lankford Ballroom and create your own Longwood masterpiece. No experience necessary! You will be provided with paint, aprons, brushes and canvas and guided with hands-on instruction through your painting by our professional artist. We promise to make this a fun, non-intimidating event for skilled painters as well as folks that have never painted before! Everyone goes home with a completed painting to be proud of!
Dinner, information will be provided on the dinner options for Saturday night.
Wine Tasting and Reception, Lancaster Lawn, Ticket Required
Join us for a wine tasting and reception sponsored by Parents Council, Student Union and First Year Experience & Family Programs. The cost is only $20 which covers all tastings featuring Virginia wines, a Longwood University wine glass, beer, soda, water and food. Anyone under the age of 21 will be admitted for free. Students aged 21 or older who wish to consume alcohol will require a $20 ticket for entrance to this event. A limited number of tickets are available for this event so register early to reserve your tickets.
Evening Entertainment, The Evasons
Join world famous mentalist duo Jeff & Tessa Evason for mind-blowing feats of ESP and Second Sight that'll have you buzzing long after the show ends. Everyone who participates will be absolutely floored when Tessa reveals their birth date, a serial number on any bill in their wallet or even the name of the first person they ever kissed - all while standing blindfolded on stage. Her intuitive gifts will make you gasp with surprise and maybe even unleash a spooked-out shriek! The Evasons consistently deliver an interactive entertainment experience that has audience members sitting on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

This is the best brunch deal in town. There will be a variety of all-you-care-to-eat breakfast and lunch items including fresh waffles and made-to-order omelets. Brunch is not included with registration and is a separate purchase.
