Reserve a Room

The Student Union has well over 6,000 square feet of meeting space. Listed below are the rooms that are available to students, faculty, and staff. There are seven total rooms available. Each is listed below with their square footage and commons uses.

To reserve a room, simply fill out our online reservation form below. If you are a group outside on Longwood University and wish to book rooms in the Student Union, please visit the Conferences and Scheduling web site. If for some reason the form does not work you can visit the Student Union main office, Lankford 201, and fill out a room reservation form. If you have any questions feel free to call us, we are always glad to help.

When reserving equipment in the Student Union, an Equipment Checkout Form must be filled out in order to use any equipment that is property of the Student Union. This form is also available in PDF format. Both can printed out and brought to the Student Union. The PDF file can be type in and then printed for your convenience.

Procedure for requesting a reservation:

  1. Read Procedures for Reserving Meeting and Event Space

  2. Accurately complete form below and submit at least 2 weeks prior to event

  3. Lankford Student Union will make a determination of space availability then will send confirmation paperwork to event planner/contact.  When you receive your confirmation, please carefully review to verify that all information is correct.

  4. IMPORTANT:  Until you receive your confirmation paperwork, your reservation remains tentative and has not been approved.

Events with 100 or more in attendance are required to have a Longwood University Police officer in attendance.  Any event requested by non-Longwood faculty, staff, or students will also require a Longwood University Police officer to be in attendance.
