The Green Award and Recognition Committee,
consisting of faculty, staff and students, was
established to recognize an individual or group for
doing something ‘green.’  The committee meets
monthly to select a winner. This winner is presented
with a Green Certificate and the Green Trophy.  The
Green Trophy is a construction of ‘green’ items
exemplifying the three components of sustainability:
environmental, economical, and societal.  The monthly
winner is asked to add their own ‘green’ touch to the
Green Trophy by affixing something that represents
what they were 'caught' doing ‘green.’  Once the next
month’s winner is chosen, the Green Trophy will be
passed on to that new winner who will then add their
own ‘green’ touch to the trophy.
