June 12, 2020 Emergency Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors

In accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3708.2 the Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors of Longwood University will meet by electronic communication means on Friday June 12, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. eastern time. Virginia Code § 2.2-3708.2 (A)(3) permits the Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors of Longwood University to conduct a meeting by electronic communication to discuss with University leadership the University’s response to the coronavirus. An emergency electronic meeting is permitted and appropriate when the Governor has declared a state of emergency provided that (i) the nature of the declared emergency makes it impracticable or unsafe to assemble a quorum in a single location and (ii) the purpose of the meeting is to address the emergency.
