Volunteer & Service-Learning

Mission

Our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for students to volunteer their time as they learn to become citizen leaders and make positive contributions to the common good.

Volunteers can get involved in one of our many projects independently or with a group of friends to help local service agencies that have requested assistance.

  • Help Joshua Bolt

Joshua is a brilliant, funny, and joyful seven-year-old! He reads, draws, writes poetry, solves math equations, creeps, climbs, and stacks things!

    He is also severely brain-injured.

His brain injury is commonly called cerebral palsy. The Bolt family is implementing an intensive home-based program of physical, intellectual, and social development for Joshua. This treatment program is prescribed by The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (www.iahp.org).

The Bolts need fun-loving volunteers both to help and to play! There are even some projects you can help with from a distance.
