The Big Siblings program at
Longwood University is dedicated to serving the area communities outside
of Longwood with its commitment to touch the lives of children who may
need encouragement and support otherwise offered by older siblings.
Our Big Sibling program matches accepted applicants with little
siblings, usually ages 6 - 10, who have been referred to us as needing
support, guidance, or just a little encouragement from a big brother or
sister.
We invite you to enter a
world that many Longwood students are
never able to enter. YOU can make a difference in the life of a
youth in our
community, help them realize their potential, and perhaps give them the
hope that they may not receive from their home environment.
