volunteers to help with our Chili Cookoff at the YMCA Oct. 18.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Working at the house in Dillwyn – If you would like to help us
with any final touches on the painting, and other work around the house,
please contact the office (reply to this email, or call) and let us know
how many to expect. We will be at the site from 9-2. We will provide
all the tools you need. AND LUNCH!!!
Lunch for our work day – Our volunteers work hard at the site and
always welcome some nourishment to get them through the day. If you or
your group would like to provide lunch for the group, please let us
know!
Recycle Volunteers – We have the opportunity to distribute more of
our indoor recycle bins AND some newly constructed outdoor bins around
the area. The bins are a great way to encourage the community to
recycle while raising needed funds for Habitat. We are in need of
volunteers that we can assign to areas in the community to pick up the
cans as the bins become full and take them to the recycling center. In
most areas this is simply a monthly need.
Movers needed – We have been working on the opening of a ReStore
here in Farmville and will need some help with moving furniture and
other things into the new store beginning in September. If you can help
with this, WE NEED YOU!!!
Office: Do you have a gift of administration? We can always use
extra help in the office answering phones, data entry, planning events
and helping us get our newsletter out. If this is where you can give
your time, please give us a call.
