1002: Companion Policies and Plans to the Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual General Policies Responsible Office: President's Office |
I. PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to inform users of the Administrative Policies
and Procedures
Manual of the existence and location of other related policy bases, as well as
major plans and official documents which, when viewed together with the Administrative Policies
and Procedures Manual, constitutes comprehensive documentation of the university's significant business practices.
II. POLICY
The following writings are additional policy bases, plans and official
documents which
together with the Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual, form the sum
total of the institution’s significant business practices. Those which are available on the
Longwood
website are hyper-linked. In the cases where they are not, the
physical location on
campus is identified.
A. Policy Bases:
1. The Faculty Handbook

3. The Board Manual: The Board Manual is located in the Office of the President.

1. The University Safety Plan: The University Safety Plan is located in the Human Resources Office and the Longwood Library.
2. The OSHA Control Plan: The OSHA Control Plan is located in the Human Resources Office.
3. The Emergency Management Plan: The Emergency Management Plan is located in the Human Resources Office.
C. Official Documents:
1 The Bylaws of the Board of Visitors: The Board Bylaws are located in the Office of the President.
2. The Longwood Foundation By-Laws: The Foundation By-Laws are located in the Office of the Foundation Treasurer.
