We will be handing out information about the Transgender

community and TransWeek at Longwood.

Monday 11/16: 7 pm Hiner 207

"Trans 101" Dr. Carl Riden will be leading a

lecture/discussion featuring a LOGO movie.

Tuesday 11/17: 7pm Jeffers Auditorium

"She's A Boy I Knew" Film screening of a transsexual

documentary.

"Ally Zone Training" Facilitated by Dr. Carl Riden, Lonnie

Calhoun and Members of Unity Alliance

Thursday 11/19: 7 pm Location Wygal 204

"A Day in The Life..." An open-forum discussion featuring

trans individuals in various stages of their transition.

Friday 11/20: 3 pm Patio Behind the Sutdent Union

"Hour of Silence" In Honor of Transgender Day of

Rememberence. Members of Unity Alliance will be

silent for one hour while two speakers read off facts

and stratistics about transgendered individuals

General Education Film Series

The General Education Film Series was created by Anna Cox (Art) and David Shoenthal (Mathematics/Computer Science) to show four foreign and/or independent films per semester. The films support the conceptual foundation of the General Education program. Follow the link above for details.
