Participants expand their cultural knowledge and awareness but also increase their own self-awareness, self-understanding, cultural sensitivity, and cultural competence.
Heritage Months helps to explore and explain the stories, history, and complex richness of each cultural identity.
In addition, Greenwood Library offers special displays of books, DVD’s, research guides and other resources for each featured culture.
