Professional Activities

In the ever-changing field of school librarianship, I believe that professional development and continuing education are vitally important to stay abreast. 

I am a member of the following professional organizations and am most active in VAASL (having served as President for 2000-2001 and as editor of VAASL's quarterly newsletter, VOICE, from 2007-2014) and AASL (having served as President for 2016-2017).
