Longwood's MBA provides a solid business foundation with an emphasis on leadership values and ethics. Earn your MBA from Longwood online on your own time.
We offer two concentrations -- retail management and general business.
Students go through the program in groups, taking the same sequence of classes as either part-time or full-time. Part-time students in retail management and general business form in the fall semester and full-time accelerated general business students start classes in the summer semester.
While classes are online, students come to campus in the summer for an extended weekend residency session. Part-time cohorts complete three residencies; full-time accelerated cohorts complete two.
Our graduates agree -- their Longwood MBA provides a competitive edge:
" The MBA program at Longwood University gave me a unique opportunity to interact with not only my fellow students but with the faculty and administration, which led to contacts that have already helped further my career. College of Business and Economics faculty cherish the opportunity to teach masters level courses and it shows in their classes. The individual attention and constant back and forth feedback created an environment for an exceptional education." -- Cory Nichols, Eagle Fire (2010 graduate)
"Earning my MBA from Longwood has been one of the most personally and professionally rewarding experiences of my life. I was nervous about working full time and going back to school, but the faculty at Longwood helped me to mesh my course work with my profession. In class, I was able to discuss and research real issues and challenges I was facing at work. The experience has given me new insight into my career and my life." -- Louise W. Waller, Space Planning & Real Property Manager (2010 graduate)
