The 2009 International Coastal Cleanup in Virginia (also known as the Virginia Waterways Cleanup) is now signing up leaders and Site Captains! Please take a leadership position in September & October 2009 by being a Site Captain for a Cleanup Event in your town!
CVW coordinates the annual Virginia Waterways Cleanup (part of Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup). The list of 2009 ICC Cleanup Sites in Virginia will be posted here in a few weeks -- please check back. In the meantime, look at last year's sites (2008 Cleanup Sites) since we usually clean the same sites year after year thanks to our Site Captains. Please join thousands of other volunteers this September and October at a cleanup event, or plan a new cleanup in your community by serving as a 2009 Site Captain!
