Jennifer Beach

Ms. Jennifer Beach is the Research and Instructional Services Librarian, Assistant Professor, in the Janet D. Greenwood Library.  She is the coordinator for library instruction, including the Embedded Librarian program, and acts as the Faculty Lead for Longwood's Information Literacy Competency.

Prior to joining Longwood in 2016, Ms. Beach's 15-year career was primarily spent in public libraries; most recently as the Director of the Cumberland County Public Library.  She has also served as a Regional Coordinator for the Indiana State Library, and as an Adult Services Librarian in public libraries in North Carolina.

Ms. Beach resides with her family in Farmville, VA, with a menagerie of pets.  She holds a Masters Degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and is an avid Tar Heels basketball fan.
