Information Sessions & Tours

Information Sessions are conducted by an admissions representative and followed by a student-led campus tour. Sessions and tours are available on select weekends and most weekdays. Please allow about two hours for your visit.

Weekday Information Sessions & Tours are held at 10:30 a.m. and/or 2 p.m.

Open Houses

If you want an in-depth look into Longwood and our admissions process, an Open House is for you. This program includes sessions in academics, financial aid, student services and admissions.

Open houses have 500-800 guests in attendance. Student-led campus tours usually have 20 or fewer guests. Please allow about four hours for your visit.

Junior Day Open House

Come take a closer look at Longwood! Understanding how a university can be the “right fit” for you starts now!  This special day for high-school juniors will give you a sneak peek into life as a Lancer.
Attend a class, interact with faculty, grab some Lancer swag, and discover what the “right fit” feels like. 

Saturday, April 1 (Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. and the Program at Noon)


Accepted Student Open House

This event is specifically designed for accepted students. The program includes a presentation by an admissions representative and a campus tour. Please allow at least two hours for your visit. Usual crowd size is 500-800. Generally, 20 or fewer guests are in each student-led tour.

    Braille material: six weeks advance notice
    Enlarged material: one week advance notice
    Sign language interpreter: six weeks advance notice
    Limited transportation on campus: three business days advance notice
