Spring Showcase for Research and Creative Inquiry

The Spring 2023 Student Showcase for Research and Creative Inquiry will occur on Wednesday April 19, 2023 from 8:00 - 5:30pm. To encourage student participation in the Spring Student Showcase, undergraduate classes will not be held on Wednesday, April 19 between 8:00am and 5:30 p.m.

The registration deadline for the Spring 2023 Student Showcase is Friday, March 17 at 5:00pm. Please encourage your students to share their research and inquiry projects at this exciting event.

The Student Showcase is open to all students and all majors who are engaging in research and creative inquiry. Students doing independent study projects, research projects, and class projects are invited to participate. Posters, oral presentations, performances, visual displays, electronic presentations, and other presentations of creative work will be showcased. 

The Spring 2023 Student Showcase will be a fully in-person event. ​

As part of the Spring 2023 Student Showcase, we are organizing a ​special research symposium focused on "Inclusive Excellence". During this session, students will present their research that is focused on issues in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. This event will take place during the Spring 2023 Showcase on April 19. Students will be able to indicate if they would like to present their research as part of this special session on the Student Showcase registration form. By agreeing to participate, your students' presentation will be scheduled as part of this dedicated session. This is not an extra presentation, but instead it is the inclusion of their presentation in the special "Inclusive Excellence" session that will occur on April 19 as part of the Spring Student Showcase. Please discuss participation in this special session with your students and encourage them to participate if you think their project would fit well into the research symposium on "Inclusive Excellence".
