Relay For Life at Longwood is going to be held on April 6th from 1-8pm on Stubbs Lawn. Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society that supports breakthrough research, 24/7 support for cancer patient/caregivers, and many programs for those affected. We will have entertainment, games, and club/organization engagement, along with a luminaria ceremony.
The luminaria ceremony is held near the end of the event to celebrate, remember, and fight back against cancer. For a modest contribution of $10, you can illuminate the night with a luminaria bag dedicated to a loved one who has bravely faced the challenges of cancer. Each luminaria symbolizes the resilience and spirit of those who have journeyed through this battle, spreading a beacon of light that transcends darkness.
