  • Immunization Form

    An immunization form signed by a primary care provider or a health department clinician is required for all incoming full time students. We highly recommend that you bring the completed form to your Orientation session where we can collect and review the form. Please click here for more information and to download a copy of the form.

    The 2016-2017 Answer Book

    Students receive their hard copy of The Answer Book at Orientation. This publication is very useful for students and families alike as they embark on the transition to Longwood and continue through the first year. Click here for more information.

     

     
  • Peer Mentors 2014

     What Is A Peer Mentor?

    Peer Mentors are sophomore, junior, or senior students who are assigned to with with incoming students during Orientation and New Lancer Days. Peer Mentors also co-instruct the LSEM 100 course for new students. Peer Mentors are campus experts about everythibng at Longwood. They look forward to getting to know you and helping you navigate your first year at Longwood!

Special University Hours

Longwood University will be closed beginning at 3pm on Friday, May 13th and will reopen at 8:15am on Tuesday, May 17th. This Recognition Day holiday allows faculty and staff to celebrate commencement weekend with our graduating seniors.

We are so excited that you have chosen Longwood University to continue your education! We hope your semester is off to a great start!

The Office of First Year Experience and Family Programs is not only responsible for all Orientation programs and New Lancer Days but also ensuring you have the best possible experience during your first year at Longwood and beyond. The Longwood HELP Desk can help you access or reset your LancerNet ID user credentials. New students will receive more information about how to access their Longwood Live Mail e-mail account at Orientation in June.

Housing Assignments

If you have any questions about the housing assignment process please contact the Office of Residential and Commuter Life (RCL) at 434-395-2080 or e-mail housing@longwood.edu. Residential students will submit housing preferences during Orientation in June. Review RCL's website for detailed information about each residence hall.
