First Year Experience and Family Programs
Did You Know?
New Student Leadership Program
The New Student Leadership Program (NSLP) is a weekend getaway at an outdoor adventure camp in Charlottesville, VA. New students enjoy the opportunity to get away from campus and connect with other new Lancers. Activities will include a low ropes course, high ropes element, bonding in small and large groups, and singing songs around the campfire. NSLP makes the transition to college life easier as students begin to chart their course as citizen leaders! For more information on the program, dates, and registration process please visit the NSLP website.
An immunization form completed by a primary care provider or a health department clinician is required for all incoming full time students. We highly recommend that you bring the completed form to your Orientation & Registration session where our staff can collect and review the form. If you have already attended Orientation, the requested due date is July 10th. Please click here for more information and to download a copy of the form.
Please note: All information must be transcribed onto the specific Longwood form provided at the link above.
The 2015-2016 Answer Book is now available!
Students will receive their hard copy of The Answer Book at Orientation and Registration. This publication is very useful for students and families alike as they embark on the transition to Longwood and continue through the first year. Click here for more information.
