Lancer Productions and the Office of Multicultural Affairs welcomes Tajay Ashmeade, an ex-gang member, Jamaican-born immigrant, special education student, and gunshot survivor. She’s also an Olympic qualifier, and Ph.D. candidate. As the founder of Taking the LEAP with Tajay Ashmeade, TJ is committed to sharing her story in order to help others. She understood that the odds were against her, but she is not allowing them to dictate her outcome.
