Our 30-minute interactive Lancer 101 information session will introduce you to Longwood and help you get to know our welcoming community. We’ll cover the admissions process, financial aid, academic majors and campus life. You’ll have a chance to chat with an Admissions team member and get all your questions answered.
Ready to apply and get an admission decision? Accelerated Decision allows you to get an on-the-spot admission decision immediately following your visit event—either on campus or virtually from the comfort of your home. Learn more!
Transfer students are welcome to join Lancer 101 events, but are not eligible for the Accelerated Decision program. We also offer an evening Lancer 101 for Transfers (virtually) that is designed to provide information specific to transfer students.
Learn all about the Call Me MISTER program and hear current students talk about how the program is preparing them for impactful careers as elementary, middle, and high school teachers. We’ll discuss how to apply, scholarships and financial support, and other program highlights.
Learn all about the Cormier Honors College and hear current students talk about how the Honors College experience is impacting their academic journey. We’ll go over eligibility requirements, and discuss why a challenging and interdisciplinary Honors College education is an invaluable investment.

This course explores the basics of the business world—management, marketing, finance, and economics and the rights and responsibilities of business and people as citizens. We will use the TV show The Office as an example of how these topics are applied in the real world (both appropriately and inappropriately).
