Please join us for a reading by Jacinda Townsend as part of the Longwood Authors Series, in our first event hosted at the Moton Museum! Townsend, the acclaimed author of Mother Country, won the 2023 Ernest Gaines Award for Literary Excellence and was a finalist for both the Mark Twain American Voice in Literature and the Hurston/Wright Legacy Awards. A book signing and reception will follow the reading.
