Audiology Services

We have a demonstration site for listening devices from the Virginia Dept. for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, OSHA-mandated industrial hearing evaluations, and Professional in-services and consultations.

Funding Assistance

We work with the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, the local Lions Club, and with other funding sources to help you get funding assistance for hearing aids and other assistive devices.

Support

Every month we host a monthly Hearing Loss Support Group. Typically between 20 and 25 individuals attend the Support Group and meetings are focused on educating individuals who have hearing loss, and their families, on hearing. Meetings are at SHLS from 1:30-3 p.m. on the third Friday of every month, September - April, and are free and open to everyone.
