Cognition. Compassion. Community.

Cognition. Compassion. Community.

Cormier is where cognition unites with compassion to build community. We’ll help you explore your passion so that you can discover your life’s work.

Cormier Honors College (CHC) is home to those who wish to be engaged in the life of the community and for those who wish to lead, to guide and to serve.

As an honors student, you'll join a community of focused and like-minded students living and learning through scholarship and service.

We offer challenging courses and a degree with honors, but that's only one facet of the program.

From our living and learning community to serving and leading in the Longwood and surrounding communities we support each other through challenging course work and competitive scholarship to achieve a degree with honors.

In my first year, I participated in team building at a ropes course, I was invited to a dinner with Longwood's Board of visitors, went on field trips with other Honors students to delve deeper into our course material, I was elected president of the Honors Student Association, and had a proposal accepted for an idea exchange at the National Collegiate Conference in Seattle.
