Three free webinars will be conducted this winter by career guru J.T. O’Donnell, described by Paige Rollins ’15, assistant director of live digital events, as a “good friend of the university.”
Anyone can sign up at www.longwood.edu/alumni for the webinars— Dec. 2, Jan. 20 and Feb. 3— which feature career advice for “different levels of your career path,” said Rollins. The webinars kick off what will be a recurring monthly webinar series.
The Dec. 2 webinar is “Mastering Your Alumni Network: Asking Your Network For Help,” the Jan. 20 webinar is “How To Write Résumés That Get You Job Interviews” and the Feb. 3 webinar is How To Write Disruptive Cover Letters That Allow You To Stand Out.”
Each webinar will include 30 minutes of questions and answers with the viewers, a downloadable “cheat sheet” on the webinar for attendees and a homework assignment at the end of the webinar.
